Steam Reformers for Syngas Production

Conversion of steam/hydrocarbon mixtures in catalyst filled tubes heated from the outside for the production of synthesis gases rich in hydrogen and carbon monoxide

Feedstock can be methane, ethane or naphtha

A variety of radiant section design options with burners arranged in the ceiling, or at the sidewalls of the radiant section can be offered

Basic design criteria for burners, heat recovery from the hot flue gases and furnace control are the same as for steam reformers for H2-production
